A venue account is free. You list the room, put nights on the calendar, find a KJ, and give them branding for the TV. You do not run Request Pool, Active Queue, or the karaoke player — the host does that on the gig page.
Sign up at Venue details (/venues/signup). Heading: Venue details. Fill Venue name, Type, address, and Location on map (Find on map or drag the pin), then Save venue details. If you opened a public venue page to claim it, you will see Claiming Venue.
No rooms yet? The dashboard shows No Venues Found and Create Your First Venue. Extra rooms: Add venue (same signup form).
Open the dashboard
Venue Dashboard (/venues/dashboard).
If you manage more than one room, the name next to Venue Dashboard is a switcher (Switch venue). Stats and Booked Gigs follow the room you pick.
Publicly listed — Visible or Hidden. On: singers can find you on Find Your Stage. Off: hidden from that directory. The switch label is Show venue in directory and on Find Your Stage.
Until we approve the listing you may see Verification Pending: We're currently validating your venue details. You can set up events now, and the listings will show a validation checkmark once approved. Verification declined includes a reason when we have one — contact Support if that looks wrong.
Counts at the top: Upcoming Gigs, Completed Gigs, Profile Views.
Profile and photos
Quick Actions → Venue Profile & Details (/profile?tab=venue) for name, type, address, capacity, phone, website, and description.
Profile Strength (0–100%) lists what is still empty (Add venue name, Add venue type, Add address, and so on). Improve Profile opens the same profile tab. Helper copy: Complete your profile to boost visibility in search.
Venue image — Used when you add an event. Singers will see this on the gig listing. Upload venue image / Clear.
Booked Gigs
Nights at this room land in Booked Gigs. When a host creates a gig using your venue, it appears here (you cannot Edit event on those — the host owns the gig).
View Calendar opens Schedule. Empty copy: No upcoming gigs at your venue yet. When hosts create gigs at your venue name, they'll appear here.
Manually Add Event opens Create New Gig. Venue and address come from your profile. Set Start Time and End Time, then Create Gig.
Host already organised? — Turn on if you already have a host for this event. Leave off if you still need to find one. On → the row shows Host booked. Off → Host TBC, and you can Assign host.
Row labels you may see: the host’s name, Invitation sent to [name], Invitation pending, Host TBC, or Host booked. Host-created nights also show a status chip (active / upcoming).
More options (three dots):
- View in calendar
- Edit event — manual nights only. Event name, Start time, End time, Music types, Host already organised?, Save changes
- Assign host — only while the night is still Host TBC (no host name yet)
Find and invite a host
Find a Host (/venues/find-host) — Search our directory of registered professional KJs to fill your empty dates. Browse Directory / Find Hosts / Browse Host Directory all go there.
On a host card: View profile, Message, and the heart (Add to favourites / Remove from favourites). If you have more than one venue, Message first asks Message as — pick the room the host should see, or Default (profile).
Favourite Hosts on the dashboard. Empty: No favourite hosts yet. Browse the directory and tap the heart to save hosts you love working with. Rebook opens Messages with that host.
To attach a KJ to a Host TBC night: Assign host (or Assign host to this event on Schedule). Find a Host then shows: Select a host below to send them an invitation. They must accept in their dashboard before the gig appears on their list. Type at least three letters in Search hosts (Name, company, or location), then Assign to event.
The host sees Invitations from venues on their dashboard: Accept (the gig joins their list) or Decline. Until they accept, your row stays Invitation sent to [name] or Invitation pending.
Schedule
Schedule (/venues/schedule) is the month view of the same nights. Today, previous/next month, View bookings list (back to Booked Gigs). Tap a night for Date & time, Host, Music, then Edit event, Assign host to this event, or View in dashboard.
Display Branding
On the dashboard, Display Branding: Hosts who run karaoke at your venue can show this media on the display between songs. Image or Video, then Choose File and Upload. Clear removes it.
That file is unused until the host picks Venue's in Gig Settings. How they choose the source, Force/Hide, and visualizer behind: Display Branding between songs.
You do not open Toggle Player or Queue Display — those are host tools. Host night-one path: Getting started as a host. What singers see: Joining a gig.
