QR codes let singers join your queue and see the running order from their phones. Here's how to print and display them at your venue.
Where to find your QR code
On the gig management screen, use the toolbar:
- Display QR Code (QR icon) – Opens the on-screen code for that gig. The link goes to this gig's singer page.
- Print QR Code (printer icon) – Opens the print layout for table tents and signs.
The gig code is in the header (grouped in fours). Share it when someone is standing next to you, or as a backup if a printed code is stale or unreadable.
Private gigs, passwords, and Find Gigs
- Private Gig – Hidden from Find Gigs map and list. Guests join with your QR or gig code, not by browsing.
- Password – Optional. If you set one, the QR and print join URL include it (
?password=), so a scan can skip the password prompt. People who type the gig code still enter the password if it isn't in the link. - Reprint after you change Private, password, or which gig the sign is for — an old printout can point at the wrong night.
Printing
- Print – Use Print QR Code, or open Display QR Code and use the browser's Print.
- Size – Print large enough that people can scan from a few feet away (e.g. A4 or letter, or a dedicated sign).
- Contrast – Use a white or light background with a dark QR code so phones can read it quickly.
- Test – Scan the printed code with your own phone and confirm it opens this gig's singer page.
Displaying at the venue
- Near the stage or host – So singers can scan when they want to request a song or check the queue.
- On tables or bar – So people can join without crowding the host.
- On a screen – You can show the same QR on a TV or monitor (including next to Queue Display). Keep the code big and sharp, and watch glare.
What singers see
When someone scans the code, they open the singer page for this gig: search or browse the songbook, add or cancel requests, and see the queue. No app install is required. Singer how-to: Joining a gig.
Tips
- Gig code backup – If the printout is leftover from last week, read the code from the gig header instead of hoping the paper is current.
- Digital copy – Keep a PDF or image of tonight's QR so you can reprint or show it on another device.
A clear, current QR (or the gig code) is how singers get onto the right night.
