Host Insights is the after-the-night dashboard: how many requests you took, how many got sung, wait time, and when the room was busiest. Open it from Analytics on the Host Dashboard.
It is not the info-icon Singer insights popover on a queue card (that is one singer’s cross-gig history). This page does not show tonight’s live queue — run the night on the gig screen, then read Insights after the numbers have caught up.
You need a valid host subscription (trial counts). Plans: The Controller and The Rig.
Open Insights
- Sign in and open the Host Dashboard.
- Click Analytics (chart icon), or Analytics in the account menu.
- The heading is Host Insights. Back to Dashboard returns you.
The default range is the last 30 days through today.
Pick dates and venue
- Venue — All Venues, or one venue you host at.
- Start Date / End Date — calendar days.
- Search — applies the form. Changing the dropdowns does not refresh until you Search.
- Excel, CSV, and JSON — next to Search. Same daily rows: Date, Total Requests, Songs Sung, Completion Rate (%), Unique Singers. Excel opens in Microsoft Excel (and Google Sheets). CSV is UTF-8 for Sheets, Numbers, or a text editor. JSON is the same days as objects, plus the applied start date, end date, and venue (
allor that venue’s id). Filenameshost-analytics-YYYY-MM-DD-to-YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx/.csv/.json. Disabled when there is no data.
Empty copy: No data available for this period. If you filtered to one venue, try All Venues.
Numbers are aggregated in the background, not live from the gig page. Data is current through is the last finished aggregation date. You may see We’re refreshing your latest data (with a percent bar) or Data is being brought up to date in the background — browse what is already there; refresh in a moment for the rest.
Read the cards
Across the selected days:
- Total Requests — song requests in the range.
- Completion Rate — songs finished ÷ requests. Queue & Experience repeats this as Total Requests vs Sung.
- Unique Singers — each day’s unique singers added together, so someone who sings two nights counts twice.
- Avg Wait Time — request to stage, averaged over finished songs. — / No data yet until songs have been marked played. Queue & Experience labels the same figure Average Wait Time.
- Busiest Time — the hour-of-day with the most requests in Peak Hours.
Pacing the room: Running the queue. If an Insight line on Audience Retention suggests speeding up the queue, change Time Per Singer in Gig Settings (Queue Management) — that is the live control name.
Charts and lists
- Request Volume — requests per day in the range.
- Peak Hours — requests by hour of day across those dates (hours are UTC). Use this for “when does this room actually request,” not a live heatmap of tonight.
- Venue Comparison — only when Venue is All Venues. Ranked by completion rate, then request volume. Columns: Venue, Requests, Completion, Avg Wait (up to three venues).
- Top Performers — singers by request count in the range (top five). View All expands the rest (Show less collapses). Walk-ins you Add from the booth may not appear (no linked singer account). Names only — not emails.
- Audience Retention — completion donut: Total Requested vs Total Sung, plus the Insight line.
